The idea for Dive Deep Ministries came in November of 2008. By that time our director, Kyle Atkins, had been going through some mentoring training in preparation for his call into ministry. While at an even hosted by the college ministry of 12 Stone Church, Kyle saw a vision of a man that was standing on the edge of a cliff. This man was looking down into the water below and it was almost like God was whispering for the man to dive into the unknown. After a time of standing on the edge the man dove into the water below. Out of this vision Dive Deep Ministries was born. We have a few key scriptures that define our ministry starting with Matthew 28:19-20 which says:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

To compliment this passage, we firmly believe in 1 Timothy 4:12 which says:

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

We strive to set an example for our generation. Although the road may be easier if we were attached to a church or denomination, we believe that this is not what God has called us to do.

While we could go into countless detail on our statement of faith at the core of who we are we believe that:

1) Jesus Christ is the living son of the God of the Universe
2) Jesus Christ came to Earth in human form, lived among us, was crucified for the sins of the world, overcame death and rose again on the third day
3) The Bible is the living Word of God as 2 Timothy 3:16 says that “All Scripture is God-breathed…”
4) The offer of salvation is for anyone who wants to accept it and it is our job to spread this word to all nations as we are commanded in Matthew 28:19-20
5) There is only one way to Heaven and that is though the offer of salvation; There is no other way to be in fellowship with God
6) God will be returning to earth to deliver the final judgment at a time only known to the Father alone at which time he will establish His kingdom on earth
